Dear Fred, Jo-Anne and Eagle Nest Lodge Staff,
On behalf of BASF Canada, I would like to personally thank you for another excellent job hosting BASF, our customers from Richardson International and their sons at your fantastic resort!
The expectations of our annual event are always set high and your lodge and staff never fail to deliver above and beyond the call of duty. This year (like every year) the fishing, meals, lodging, transportation, service and hospitality were once again “top-notch” and the BASF staff along with our Richardson International guests and their sons enjoyed every minute of it!
Thanks again for an excellent experience at Eagle Nest Resort!
Wishing you a safe and successful 2010 season!
Best regards,
Steve Manning

Cathy and I wanted to write you a thank you letter. As you know we’d planned this trip for two years. I had watched TV shows about Canadian fishing and how good it was. Well, ya’lls fishing exceeded my expectations. It was fantastic. I liked the secludedness too! The staff and guides were terrific. I left a lot of stress to relax at your place and it was just what the doctor ordered.
I just wanted to let you know again what a great time we had at Eagle Nest. The staff went above and beyond to see that we were taken care of and I trust we weren’t too much of a problem I hope. The cake and wine on our anniversary was a very nice touch. One thing I did seem to have snuck out on was a six pack of Budweiser I ordered on Wed. night the 23rd. If you would reply with a price I will send it to you. keep me on the list for June and I will be in touch in Dec. Also if you could send me some info on your bear hunts. Thanks again Jeff Jones and family.
We will be back for sure – It is a great place with great people and we really appreciate that. It is not hard to refer when a business has such a great standard and value system for their customers. I hope the summer goes well for you.
We arrived back in Missouri tired but happy to have experienced one of our best trips in 16 years. You were right about the bass being just right, as evidenced by all the M.A. smallmouth we “hung” on your big fish chart. Believe me, it was almost embarrassing to post SEVEN smallmouth over 18 inches myself, five in one day.
Please find the enclosed pictures from our recent trip to Eagle Nest. Our group had a great time, despite leaving early to outrun the storm. Thank you for your hospitality and make sure the staff receives a note of thanks from us as well. You can tell John and James that they are not only great guides, but a lot of fun to have in the boat as well. The two smallies, a 19″ and an 18″ were my first two Master Angler awards. The Northern’s are 37 and 34 inchers. Please feel free to use them as you need. Again, thanks for your efforts.
Thought I’d send you a couple of pictures from our trip. It was an awesome trip. Three generations spending quality time together, although quick, was a memorable time. I only hope that we will be able to afford the opportunity to duplicate the experience. You run a very nice operation, Fred, and your guide staff is great. Juan and Mark really made our trip as good as it could be. Always cheerful, optimistic, humorous, and able to adapt to all of our personalities your choice staff, including housekeeping and dining is top notch.
I would like to thank you and all of your staff for such a wonderful fishing experience. We have never stayed at a lodge that had the high level of accommodations and yet still provided wonderful fishing.
